## What it does

This skill runs Apify’s `apidojo~youtube-channel-scraper`. Inputs can include channel URLs, handles, or search keywords, along with country and language codes, a sort order, and a result limit. Use `scripts/run_actor.js` to save results as CSV or JSON.

The output includes channel names, descriptions, subscriber and video counts, verification status, keywords, tags, and other fields. The `subscriberCount` value can arrive as text such as `1.2M subscribers`, so downstream parsing may be needed. Private or terminated channels return no results; channels without metadata keywords have an empty `tags` array.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add apidojo-io/apidojo-skills --skill scraping-youtube-channel-info -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/scraping-youtube-channel-info/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/scraping-youtube-channel-info/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add apidojo-io/apidojo-skills --skill scraping-youtube-channel-info -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/scraping-youtube-channel-info/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add apidojo-io/apidojo-skills --skill scraping-youtube-channel-info -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/scraping-youtube-channel-info/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install apidojo-io/apidojo-skills scraping-youtube-channel-info
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/scraping-youtube-channel-info/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add apidojo-io/apidojo-skills --skill scraping-youtube-channel-info -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/apidojo-io/apidojo-skills --path skills/primitives/scraping-youtube-channel-info
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/scraping-youtube-channel-info/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add apidojo-io/apidojo-skills --skill scraping-youtube-channel-info -a opencode
```
