# scenario-seedance-storyboard

Controls continuous motion across Seedance video cuts using timecoded storyboards and matched poses. It prevents teleporting limbs and motion resets during dance, fight, or sports scenes.

## What it does

Generating action video shot by shot often resets momentum and slides feet across the floor at cuts. This skill solves that by organizing production into a structured storyboard where each shot ends in the exact pose the next shot begins from. Instead of re-prompting, you create timecoded action scripts, reference plates, and light sketch panels. This keeps motion continuous.

The process follows ten steps, starting with script drafting and panel gating, then moving to board assembly with `model_scenario-compose-image` and final quality checks every half-second. Video runs follow two lanes. For clips under the 30-second cap on Seedance 2.5, a single scripted run takes the board and key frames via `referenceImages`. Longer sequences use chained runs, passing `image` and `lastFrameImage` boundary stills without reference images.

Keep in mind that the single scripted run defaults `aspectRatio` to `adaptive`, so a portrait board will force a portrait video. Working through the full pipeline also relies on sibling skills like `scenario-seedance` and `scenario`.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add scenario-labs/skills --skill scenario-seedance-storyboard -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/scenario-seedance-storyboard/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/scenario-seedance-storyboard/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add scenario-labs/skills --skill scenario-seedance-storyboard -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/scenario-seedance-storyboard/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add scenario-labs/skills --skill scenario-seedance-storyboard -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/scenario-seedance-storyboard/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install scenario-labs/skills scenario-seedance-storyboard
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/scenario-seedance-storyboard/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add scenario-labs/skills --skill scenario-seedance-storyboard -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/scenario-labs/skills --path skills/scenario-seedance-storyboard
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/scenario-seedance-storyboard/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add scenario-labs/skills --skill scenario-seedance-storyboard -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/scenario-labs/skills/tree/HEAD/skills/scenario-seedance-storyboard/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- maintain motion continuity across video cuts in Seedance
- draft timecoded shot scripts with matched entry and exit poses
- assemble approved sketch panels into a unified storyboard
- chain multi-shot video sequences using first and last frame stills

## Example prompts
- Create a timecoded storyboard script for a Seedance fight sequence with matching poses
- Set up a chained per-shot run for Seedance using boundary stills
- Assemble the approved panels into a board using scenario compose tools

# Scenario Seedance Storyboard

## Overview

Prompted shot by shot, generated movement falls apart: limbs teleport, feet slide, and every cut
resets the performance. So storyboard instead of prompting harder. What this delivers is continuous
motion through the handoffs, not editorially distinct cuts: for cuts a viewer can feel, cut the
delivered clip yourself with `scenario-video-editing`. Write a timecoded shot script, draw a
character sheet and a numbered panel per shot, and hold one rule: every shot ends in the pose the
next one starts from. Pinned boundaries leave nothing to reset, so the cuts play as one performance.

Connection and the core loop: the `scenario` skill; the Seedance parameter contract, conditioning
traps, and sound lanes: the `scenario-seedance` skill; identity across stills and a reusable
character sheet: the `scenario-consistency` and `scenario-identity-library` skills; a board or comic
page that is itself the deliverable: the `scenario-storyboards` skill; splitting and rejoining
shots: the `scenario-video-editing` and `scenario-video-assembly` skills. If a sibling skill named
here is missing from your available skills, ask the user to install it
(`npx skills add scenario-labs/skills --skill <name>`); unattended, proceed from tool schemas and
flag the gap.
