# scenario-kling

A skill for generating and editing video with Kling models on Scenario through MCP: text-to-video, image animation, lipsync, motion control. Useful when the agent has to pick the model itself.

## What it does

The skill covers Kuaishou's Kling family on Scenario. Eighteen models at authoring time, each built for a different kind of conditioning: V3 Omni handles every mode with the tier set through `mode`, plus dedicated V3 T2V and I2V lines, O1, 2.6, motion control, lipsync and a talking avatar. You pick by job, not by name — run `search` with `target="models"` and `query="kling"`, then read `model_schema_get`, because the same parameter changes shape, default and legality between members.

Inside there is a job-to-model table, a list of schema traps, and a worked example that builds a two-shot clip from a single still. On most members `duration` is the string `"5"`, not a number; Omni alone takes a number from 3 to 15. The V3 dedicated lines reach 15 seconds, O1 and 2.6 stop at 10. `prompt` and `multiPrompt` are exclusive on the V3 dedicated lines. `generateAudio` defaults to true on the V3 lines and 2.6 T2V, false on Omni and 2.6 I2V, and does not exist on O1.

Two sibling skills carry the rest: `scenario` handles connection and the core run loop, `scenario-video` covers model-agnostic video work. If either is missing from your available skills, the skill tells you to ask the user to install it. Motion control needs two inputs at once, a character image and a driving video, and `characterOrientation` has to be set explicitly because the defaults disagree across members.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add scenario-labs/skills --skill scenario-kling -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/scenario-kling/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/scenario-kling/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add scenario-labs/skills --skill scenario-kling -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/scenario-kling/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add scenario-labs/skills --skill scenario-kling -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/scenario-kling/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install scenario-labs/skills scenario-kling
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/scenario-kling/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add scenario-labs/skills --skill scenario-kling -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/scenario-labs/skills --path skills/scenario-kling
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/scenario-kling/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add scenario-labs/skills --skill scenario-kling -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/scenario-labs/skills/tree/HEAD/skills/scenario-kling/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- generate a clip from a text description at a chosen quality tier
- animate a still and set the closing frame of a scene
- build a multi-shot sequence with a separate prompt per shot
- keep one character consistent across shots with elements and references
- transfer motion from a driving video onto a character image

## Example prompts
- Make a clip from this description: wide shot of the plaza, slow dolly-in, audio on
- Animate this still and add a second shot with a close-up of the character
- Transfer the motion from this video onto the character photo, set orientation explicitly

# Scenario Kling Video

## Overview

Kling, Kuaishou's video family on Scenario, ships as specialists, eighteen at authoring time: V3
(Omni plus dedicated T2V and I2V tiers), O1, 2.6, motion control, lipsync, and a talking avatar.
Pick the member whose conditioning matches the job, then treat `model_schema_get` as the contract:
the same parameter changes shape, default, and legality between members. Kling Video to Audio is
audio output, the `scenario-audio` skill's domain.

Connection and the core loop: see the `scenario` skill in this repo; model-agnostic video work: the
`scenario-video` skill. If a sibling skill named here is missing from your available skills, ask the
user to install it (`npx skills add scenario-labs/skills --skill <name>`); unattended, proceed from
tool schemas and flag the gap.

## Quick reference

Pick by job; discover ids with `search` (`target="models"`, `query="kling"`, `public=true`):

| Job                                        | Members                                                                 |
| ------------------------------------------ | ----------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Every mode in one model, tier via `mode`   | V3 Omni (`standard` 720p, `pro` 1080p, `4k`)                            |
| Text to video at a fixed tier              | V3 T2V Standard / Pro / 4K, 2.6 T2V Pro                                 |
| Animate a still, optional last frame       | V3 I2V Standard / Pro / 4K, O1 I2V, 2.6 I2V Pro                         |
| Consistent characters from photos          | O1 Reference Images, V3 I2V `elements`                                  |
