## What it does

The skill covers the SQLScript syntax an agent needs most: anonymous blocks, stored procedures, scalar and table functions, table types, cursors, and exception handlers. It also explains the language quirks that trip people up — variables take a colon when referenced, statements end with semicolons, and everything is case-insensitive.

A section on AMDP shows how to call HANA procedures from ABAP. The guide stresses the code-to-data paradigm: push computation into the database instead of moving data to the application layer. Imperative logic runs sequentially and blocks parallel execution, so performance-sensitive code should stay declarative where possible.

For the browser-based Datasphere editor, the skill delegates to `sap-browser-automation`, which handles manual authentication, Edge startup with CDP, and approved screenshots. CDP inspection is limited to local UI diagnostics; actual database validation belongs in SQL/HANA tooling. Version 2.4.1, no live HANA runtime evidence — documentation and community references only.
