## What it does

This skill directs coding agents through the `sap-ai-sdk-gen` package, which replaces the deprecated `generative-ai-hub-sdk`. The import statement remains unchanged as `gen_ai_hub`. It provides structured patterns for OpenAI and Amazon Bedrock models proxied through SAP AI Core.

Authentication relies on SAP credentials. The SDK reads client IDs and service secrets from environment variables, local config files, or platform bindings. Local testing fails immediately if the target SAP BTP tenant lacks active model deployments.

Pip extras determine feature availability. Installing the base package only provides OpenAI support, while LangChain and additional model providers require extras such as `[all]` or `[google, amazon]`.
