Turns a chosen sales methodology into discovery questions, deal scoring and a rep training plan. Useful when everyone qualifies deals differently.

## What it does

Pick one framework — MEDDIC, BANT, Sandler, Challenger or SPIN — and the skill breaks it into components. Each one gets a definition, a reason it matters, and discovery questions in three tiers: essential, important and nice-to-have. Red flags and green flags sit alongside, so you can see which way a deal is leaning.

Then comes the scorecard. Every component is rated 0-10 with evidence and a risk level, rolled up into a 0-100 score and a status: Qualified, Pursue With Caution or Disqualify. A live deal can go through the same card, listing strengths, gaps with mitigations, and what information is still missing. Next actions split into Immediate, Short-term and Before Close, each with a purpose, a target contact and a success metric.

Five references ship with it: seven methodologies profiled, the deliverable template, worked MEDDIC and BANT scoring examples, a rep training curriculum with a call-prep checklist and a 30/60/90 rollout, plus call scripts, follow-up emails, status formats and Salesforce and HubSpot field definitions. One rule the author repeats: implement one methodology at a time, don't stack frameworks — otherwise the team loses track of the criteria. Scoring is meant to live inside the CRM so it becomes a habit rather than a one-off exercise.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add OneWave-AI/claude-skills --skill sales-methodology-implementer -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/sales-methodology-implementer/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/sales-methodology-implementer/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add OneWave-AI/claude-skills --skill sales-methodology-implementer -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/sales-methodology-implementer/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add OneWave-AI/claude-skills --skill sales-methodology-implementer -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/sales-methodology-implementer/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install OneWave-AI/claude-skills sales-methodology-implementer
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/sales-methodology-implementer/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add OneWave-AI/claude-skills --skill sales-methodology-implementer -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/OneWave-AI/claude-skills --path sales-methodology-implementer
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/sales-methodology-implementer/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add OneWave-AI/claude-skills --skill sales-methodology-implementer -a opencode
```

## When to use it
- break a sales framework into concrete call questions
- score a live deal and see where the risk sits
- decide which deals to disqualify early
- build a rep training curriculum with a rollout plan
- define CRM fields for deal scoring

## Example prompts
- Break down MEDDIC into components and give me tiered discovery questions
- Score this deal against BANT: ratings, evidence, risks and next actions
- Draft a 30/60/90 rollout and a call-prep checklist for the team

# Sales Methodology Implementer

Turn abstract sales frameworks into concrete, scored, coachable deal execution for a team.

## Contents

- references/methodologies.md - The 7 supported frameworks: best-fit profile, cycle, deal size, philosophy.
- references/output-template.md - Full implementation deliverable structure (overview, framework breakdown, scorecard, status, next actions).
- references/examples.md - Worked MEDDIC and BANT scoring examples.
- references/training-and-coaching.md - Rep training curriculum, call-prep checklist, manager coaching guide, 30/60/90 rollout plan.
- references/templates-and-crm.md - Call scripts, email templates, status-update formats, Salesforce/HubSpot fields, success metrics.

## Workflow

1. Clarify the sales motion: deal type, average deal size, sales cycle, and which methodology applies. Pick one framework per engagement (see references/methodologies.md).
2. Generate the framework breakdown: for each component define it, explain why it matters, and produce tiered discovery questions (Tier 1 essential, Tier 2 important, Tier 3 nice-to-have) with red flags and green flags.
3. Build the deal scorecard aligned to the chosen framework, scoring each component 0-10 with evidence and a risk level, then roll up to a 0-100 overall score and a status (Qualified / Pursue With Caution / Disqualify).
4. Score the live deal: list strengths with evidence, gaps and risks with mitigations, and missing information still to gather.
5. Prioritize next actions (Immediate, Short-term, Before Close) with purpose, target contact, and success metric for each.
6. Produce enablement assets as requested: rep training curriculum, call-prep checklist, manager coaching guide, and the 30/60/90 rollout (see references/training-and-coaching.md).
