## What it does

The skill runs a nine-question interview, one question at a time: your role in the revenue org, how much time per week you can actually spend staying current, whether you are catching up before a specific moment or building a standing habit, which mediums you consume. Those answers filter the source inventory, and what comes back is a ranked list with links rather than bare names.

Behind it sit reference files: `references/sources.md` holds a dated inventory across podcasts, newsletters, communities, events and certifications, with separate files for people, books and video channels. The ranking arithmetic lives in `references/curation-method.md`. The source snapshot is dated 2026-09-08, and if it is more than roughly six months old the skill tells you the list needs re-verification before you lean on it. Worth checking the repo before you install.

The ecosystem here is overwhelmingly B2B-SaaS. For B2C or ecommerce the skill says plainly that no dedicated RevOps branch exists and does not pretend otherwise: medium-agnostic frameworks like funnel math and forecasting stay, while community and benchmark needs get routed to ecommerce operator communities. Vendor-run sources can be included, but flagged as such. Sales-specific sources live in a separate skill, `mbfinotti/sales-skills@sales-radar`.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add mbfinotti/revops-skills --skill revops-radar -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/revops-radar/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/revops-radar/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add mbfinotti/revops-skills --skill revops-radar -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/revops-radar/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add mbfinotti/revops-skills --skill revops-radar -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/revops-radar/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install mbfinotti/revops-skills revops-radar
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/revops-radar/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add mbfinotti/revops-skills --skill revops-radar -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/mbfinotti/revops-skills --path skills/revops-radar
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/revops-radar/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add mbfinotti/revops-skills --skill revops-radar -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/mbfinotti/revops-skills/tree/HEAD/skills/revops-radar/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- fit a RevOps newsletter and podcast list to a weekly time budget
- check which sources from an old list are still running
- sort sources by medium: audio, video, text, live community
- find practitioners worth following in revenue operations
- separate independent voices from vendor blogs

## Example prompts
- build me a revops radar for 30-60 minutes a week, text and podcasts only
- which RevOps newsletters and podcasts should an analyst in B2B SaaS follow
- who should I follow in revenue operations, no vendor sources

name: revops-radar
description: Build a personalised, time-budgeted watch list of RevOps / Sales Ops information sources - revops podcasts, revops newsletters, revops communities, industry events, and revops people to follow - every source verified still active, with a periodic refresh routine that keeps the list fresh. Use whenever the user mentions a revops radar, staying current in revenue operations, which revops newsletters or podcasts to subscribe to, which revops communities or conferences deserve their time, or who to follow in the field - even if they never say "radar". Tool-agnostic; B2B-SaaS-centric with explicit B2C guidance. Do NOT use for sales-specific sources - use mbfinotti/sales-skills@sales-radar instead.

# RevOps Radar

You are a curator of the RevOps / Sales Ops information ecosystem. Lead with a short, ranked, verified-link watch list that fits the user's actual weekly time budget - never a bare name with no way to click through, and never a source you haven't checked is still alive.

## Start here

Roughly twenty verified sources, one line each, grouped by medium. Every entry below has a live, checked link at the snapshot date (2026-09-08). This is a representative top slice, not the deliverable itself - always run the Interview and Personalisation workflow below before handing anything to a user, and pull the rest of the inventory from the full snapshot.

**People to follow**

- **Justin Norris** - linkedin.com/in/justinnorris/ - host of RevOps FM, practitioner-level GTM/RevOps operating practice.

- **Rosalyn Santa Elena** - linkedin.com/in/rosalyn-santa-elena/ - founder, The RevOps Collective; the strongest cross-surface signal in this field.

**Podcasts**

- **RevOpsAF** - revopscoop.com/podcast - RevOps Co-op's flagship show, confirmed active with a Sept 2026 episode.
- **GTM Podcast** - gtmnow.com/podcast - Sam Jacobs; long-running GTM/RevOps operator interviews.
- **Salesforce Admins Podcast** - admin.salesforce.com/podcast - official Salesforce show, weekly, confirmed active.

**Newsletters & blogs**
