## What it does

This skill provides a set of Python scripts that connect to the third-party service twitterapi.io. It handles fetching user profiles, reading tweet threads, inspecting quotes, checking followers, or searching communities and Spaces. Search queries support filtering by username, date ranges, media presence, and engagement thresholds.

Running these scripts requires `python3` and an active API key stored in `TWITTERAPI_API_KEY`. Without exporting that key in `~/.zshrc`, requests fail immediately. The API uses an `X-API-Key` header, with pricing around 0.15–0.18 per 1k requests.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add ReScienceLab/opc-skills --skill twitter -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/twitter/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/twitter/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add ReScienceLab/opc-skills --skill twitter -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/twitter/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add ReScienceLab/opc-skills --skill twitter -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/twitter/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install ReScienceLab/opc-skills twitter
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/twitter/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add ReScienceLab/opc-skills --skill twitter -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/ReScienceLab/opc-skills --path skills/twitter
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/twitter/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add ReScienceLab/opc-skills --skill twitter -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai
