# remove-background

A skill that strips backgrounds from photos through the Pilio API: portraits, product shots, transparent cutouts. Runs from your agent's terminal.

## What it does

The skill drives the Pilio CLI, so the official SDK handles the file upload and task creation. One command does the work: `pnpm dlx @pilio/cli remove-background --input ./portrait.png`. What comes back is a task payload.

If that task is still pending or processing, wait on it with `pnpm dlx @pilio/cli task wait <task_id>`. A single call won't hand you the finished image.

You need `PILIO_API_KEY` set in the environment beforehand. Don't paste keys into the chat, and the skill won't ask you to. There's also a web version of the same workflow if you want to eyeball the result first.

# Remove Background
