## What it does

\`remotion-multimedia` gives Codex focused guidance for using Mediabunny, a browser library for audio and video work. Its documented tasks cover three values: audio length in seconds, video length in seconds, and a video's width and height.

The skill includes separate guidance files named `get-audio-duration.md`, `get-video-dimensions.md`, and `get-video-duration.md`. Each one covers the matching measurement. It does not describe editing or encoding, so those workflows fall outside this skill's stated scope.

## Install

### Codex (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add openai/plugins --skill remotion-multimedia -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/remotion-multimedia/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Claude Code

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add openai/plugins --skill remotion-multimedia -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/remotion-multimedia/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/remotion-multimedia/

### Cursor

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/remotion-multimedia/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install openai/plugins remotion-multimedia
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/remotion-multimedia/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

**Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/openai/plugins --path plugins/remotion/skills/remotion-multimedia
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/remotion-multimedia/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/openai/plugins/tree/HEAD/plugins/remotion/skills/remotion-multimedia/SKILL.md

## When to use it
