## What it does

This skill supplies patterns for running the Chroma embedding database in local or self-hosted environments. It covers collection lifecycle management, persisting vector indexes to disk with `PersistentClient`, and running similarity queries on document chunks.

It also contains examples for the default `all-MiniLM-L6-v2` embedding model, OpenAI and HuggingFace functions, and LangChain document loaders. Running the Python examples requires `chromadb` and `sentence-transformers` installed in your project.
