## What it does

The skill hands your agent a set of slash commands for search optimization work. The list includes `/keyword-research`, `/content-audit`, `/technical-seo`, `/competitor-gap`, `/content-brief`, `/serp-monitor`, `/link-prospecting`, `/page-speed-seo` and `/local-seo`. You pass a URL or a phrase, and you get back a breakdown: query clusters with difficulty and intent, page quality scores, backlink gaps against competitors.

The technical pass walks a checklist — `robots.txt`, XML sitemap, canonical tags, HTTPS, mobile rendering, structured data, Core Web Vitals, internal links, 4xx/5xx pages. A separate command inspects page speed and sorts findings by how much they affect rankings. Briefs come out with target metrics, a section outline and a list of NLP terms to work in.

Install runs through `npx skills add` with the agent named, and the skill file lands at `~/.claude/skills/r16-voltagent-seo-content-marketing-agent-skills/SKILL.md`. The commands lean on whatever data your agent can reach on its own — with no source for search volume or difficulty, those table columns come back empty. Worth knowing before you plan a quarter of content around them.
