# ql-quality

## What it does

ql-quality ships as part of the qualitylayer collection by maxritter. You install it into an agent and it gets picked up when the agent works on your codebase. Supported agents include Claude, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI and OpenCode.

Install runs through `npx skills add maxritter/qualitylayer --skill ql-quality` with a per-agent flag such as `-a claude-code`. GitHub Copilot takes a different route: `gh skill install maxritter/qualitylayer ql-quality`. The skill file then lands at a path like `~/.claude/skills/ql-quality/SKILL.md` or `.cursor/skills/ql-quality/SKILL.md`, depending on the agent.

The license is proprietary, so check the repository terms before you install. Gemini CLI also has a second option — installing straight from GitHub by pointing at the skill folder path.

### Claude Code (native platform)
