## What it does

The skill hands the agent a Python 3.12+ expert role and a matching toolset: uv for packages, ruff for linting and formatting, mypy and pyright for type checks, pytest with plugins for tests. It works in steps — confirm runtime, dependencies and performance targets first, pick patterns next, then implement, test and profile for latency and memory.

Coverage runs from async/await with asyncio, aiohttp and trio through dataclasses, pydantic models, structural pattern matching, protocols and generics. Web work gets its own sections: FastAPI, Django, Flask, SQLAlchemy 2.0+ with async support. Data and ML, Docker and Kubernetes deployment, and advanced patterns like dependency injection and metaprogramming are in there too.

The skill states its own limits: not for non-Python stacks, not for basic syntax tutoring, and not useful when you cannot touch the runtime or dependencies. Worth checking before you install — if your environment is pinned, the 3.12+ advice stays theoretical.
