## What it does

This skill walks through building a Pump.fun token dashboard on Solana. Everything is plain HTML/CSS/JS with no bundler: `index.html`, `css/style.css`, and the modules `js/main.js`, `js/websocket.js`, `js/wallet.js`, `js/alerts.js`, `js/charts.js`. The live feed comes from a WebSocket at `wss://pumpportal.fun/api/data`, with separate messages for new token launches and for trades.

A create event carries the name, symbol, mint address, image, initial buy in SOL and market cap. Trade events update metrics for one mint. Token cards get prepended to the feed with a short animation, and the list is capped at 50 cards, so old entries drop off on their own. Wallet connection is non-custodial and the adapter covers Phantom and Solflare.

Getting it running takes a `git clone`, then `open index.html` or any static server such as `python3 -m http.server 8080`. No npm, no dependencies. The catch is the browser has to hold a WebSocket open to `pumpportal.fun` — a corporate proxy or a block on third-party sockets kills the stream and the feed just stays empty. Worth checking your network before you build anything on top.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add reason-machines/trending-skills --skill pump-analyzer-solana -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/pump-analyzer-solana/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/pump-analyzer-solana/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add reason-machines/trending-skills --skill pump-analyzer-solana -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/pump-analyzer-solana/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add reason-machines/trending-skills --skill pump-analyzer-solana -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/pump-analyzer-solana/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install reason-machines/trending-skills pump-analyzer-solana
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/pump-analyzer-solana/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add reason-machines/trending-skills --skill pump-analyzer-solana -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/reason-machines/trending-skills --path skills/pump-analyzer-solana
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/pump-analyzer-solana/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add reason-machines/trending-skills --skill pump-analyzer-solana -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

## When to use it
- subscribe to new Pump.fun token launches in real time
- render a token card with market cap and initial buy
- connect a Solana wallet without handing over private keys
- set custom alert criteria on trade events
- chart price and volume for a single mint

## Example prompts
- set up the pump analyzer using the pump-analyzer-solana skill
- add a trade subscription for a specific mint in `js/websocket.js`
- wire up market cap alerts in SOL in `js/alerts.js`
