## What it does

The skill checks for a Proxyman installation, helps start the app, and guides you to enable MCP Server in Settings > MCP. It then looks for the `mcp-server` executable on macOS, Windows, or Linux and identifies the agent configuration. The agent launches the bridge over stdio, and the bridge forwards calls to the running app.

Proxyman must be running and MCP Server enabled for verification to work. Don’t set the port or token yourself; the app regenerates them. If the handshake file is missing or stale, the instructions call for restarting Proxyman and enabling MCP again. On Linux AppImage builds, starting the app copies the bridge into its config directory.

Keep other MCP server settings intact and change only the `proxyman` entry. The skill also recommends leaving sensitive-data redaction on before sending content to the agent. Turn it off only when the user explicitly requests raw data.
