## What it does

The skill walks an agent through detecting an existing Proxyman installation, fetching the current release, and opening the app. macOS can use Homebrew or a DMG, Windows uses PowerShell and its installer, and Linux uses an executable AppImage.

It also locates the MCP bridge exposed by the application. On Windows and Linux, Proxyman must be opened before MCP configuration because the first launch prepares that bridge. The MCP command is the bundled `mcp-server` or `mcp-server.exe`, not the main application binary.

Installation does not set up every traffic target. CLI programs, localhost requests, and HTTPS capture can require separate Proxyman modes, which belong to the follow-up capture workflow.

- check whether Proxyman is installed
- install Proxyman on macOS, Windows, or Linux
- open Proxyman before configuring MCP
- locate the bundled MCP bridge executable
- prepare Proxyman for later traffic capture
