## What it does

The skill drives the `craigslist-pp-cli` binary, so install that first. The main path is the Printing Press installer: `npx -y @mvanhorn/printing-press-library install craigslist --cli-only`. Verify with `craigslist-pp-cli --version`. If `npx` fails (no Node, offline), fall back to a Go install, which needs Go 1.26.6 or newer: `go install github.com/mvanhorn/printing-press-library/library/commerce/craigslist/cmd/craigslist-pp-cli@latest`.

Inside is a set of watch and triage commands. `watch save` plus `watch run` poll a saved search and emit NEW, PRICE-DROP and SEED events, while `watch tail` prints one JSON event per new result for a pipeline to pick up. `drift` shows the price timeline for a single listing, `dupe-cluster` matches body fingerprints and image hashes across cities, and `reposts` counts repeats over a window. There is also `scam-score`, a rule-based 0-100 score, and `median` for p25/p50/p75 prices on a query.

Search covers ground Craigslist's own UI does not: `search --negate` filters out keywords, `since` shows what is fresh over a period without a saved search, and `cities heat` counts activity per city. Commands are read-only. Posting, messaging and account management are out of scope. If `--version` reports "command not found" after install, the runtime cannot see the binary directory on `$PATH` — check that before running any skill command.

# Craigslist — Printing Press CLI

## Prerequisites: Install the CLI

This skill drives the `craigslist-pp-cli` binary. **You must verify the CLI is installed before invoking any command from this skill.** If it is missing, install it first:

1. Install via the Printing Press installer. It defaults binaries to `$HOME/.local/bin` on macOS/Linux and `%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\PrintingPress\bin` on Windows:

2. Verify: `craigslist-pp-cli --version`
3. Ensure the reported install directory is on `$PATH` for the agent/runtime that will invoke this skill.

If the `npx` install fails (no Node, offline, etc.), fall back to a direct Go install (requires Go 1.26.6 or newer):
