# pp-booking-com

## What it does

The skill holds no booking logic of its own. It tells the agent which `booking-com-pp-cli` calls to make, so the binary has to be there first: `npx -y @mvanhorn/printing-press-library install booking-com --cli-only`, followed by `booking-com-pp-cli --version`. No Node or no network? Fall back to `go install`, which needs Go 1.26.6 or newer.

Some of the commands go past what scraping gets you. `prices cheapest` walks candidate check-in dates and pulls the floor out of stored price history. `watch run` reports only the properties that fell a set percentage under their trailing median. `trips deadlines` reads the free-cancellation-until date off each upcoming trip. For account surfaces such as trips, the wishlist and Genius rewards, the CLI imports cookies from Chrome.

Here is the catch: a binary missing from `PATH` makes the whole skill dead weight. When `--version` answers “command not found” after install, the runtime simply cannot see the directory, and every call fails. Binaries land in `$HOME/.local/bin` on macOS and Linux or `%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\PrintingPress\bin` on Windows; add that path to the environment of whichever agent runs the skill.

# Booking.com — Printing Press CLI

## Prerequisites: Install the CLI

This skill drives the `booking-com-pp-cli` binary. **You must verify the CLI is installed before invoking any command from this skill.** If it is missing, install it first:

1. Install via the Printing Press installer. It defaults binaries to `$HOME/.local/bin` on macOS/Linux and `%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\PrintingPress\bin` on Windows:

2. Verify: `booking-com-pp-cli --version`
3. Ensure the reported install directory is on `$PATH` for the agent/runtime that will invoke this skill.

If the `npx` install fails (no Node, offline, etc.), fall back to a direct Go install (requires Go 1.26.6 or newer):
