## What it does

Give the skill an Airbnb listing and it looks for the host’s own booking site, then compares the price with the platform rate. `cheapest` reports the lowest price among three sources; `compare` lays out the totals, while `find-twin` searches for the same property using its photos. The `plan` command searches by city, dates, and budget.

The skill operates the `airbnb-pp-cli` binary. Install the CLI first, then run `airbnb-pp-cli --version` to confirm the agent can reach it through `PATH`. Commands will not run without the binary. The installer uses `npx`; the Go installation route requires Go 1.26.6 or newer.

This is a read-only tool for inspecting listings, comparing prices, and tracking changes. It cannot book a stay or modify remote data. VRBO support is currently disabled, so use it for Airbnb searches.

# Airbnb — Printing Press CLI

## Prerequisites: Install the CLI

This skill drives the `airbnb-pp-cli` binary. **You must verify the CLI is installed before invoking any command from this skill.** If it is missing, install it first:

1. Install via the Printing Press installer. It defaults binaries to `$HOME/.local/bin` on macOS/Linux and `%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\PrintingPress\bin` on Windows:
   ```bash
   npx -y @mvanhorn/printing-press-library install airbnb --cli-only
   ```
2. Verify: `airbnb-pp-cli --version`
3. Ensure the reported install directory is on `$PATH` for the agent/runtime that will invoke this skill.

If the `npx` install fails (no Node, offline, etc.), fall back to a direct Go install (requires Go 1.26.6 or newer):

If `--version` reports "command not found" after install, the runtime cannot see the binary directory on `$PATH`. Do not proceed with skill commands until verification succeeds.
