## What it does

This skill generates Power BI reporting components from session notes. It reads indicator metrics from a local `MEL_DAX_LIBRARY` and uses `pbi-cli-tool` to inject measures into the active semantic model. Visual styles follow IPPF Visual Identity 2025 guidelines, saving `theme.json` directly into the `.pbip` project directory.

Page structures for equity breakdowns and methodology cards are written into `powerbi-build-output/` as staging JSON files. Users paste or configure these visuals inside Power BI Desktop by hand. The logic requires a local Python script collection located under `ane_package/reporting/powerbi_dashboard/`.

Legacy `.pbix` binaries are blocked. An active `.pbip` workspace must stay open in Power BI Desktop during runtime. Because CLI updates exist solely in Analysis Services memory, pressing `Ctrl+S` in Power BI Desktop after each model update is mandatory to persist changes.
