## What it does

Five rule categories ranked by priority: PIX integration, Smart Transfers, payment lifecycle, Boleto management and scheduled payments. Each category has a prefix — `pix-`, `smart-`, `payment-`, `boleto-`, `schedule-`. Rule files live in `rules/`, for example `rules/pix-initiation.md` and `rules/smart-preauthorization.md`.

Every file follows the same shape: a short note on why it matters, a wrong code example with an explanation, a correct one, and Pluggy-specific notes. The full compiled guide sits in `AGENTS.md`. The flow it describes: create a payment request with recipient details, create a payment intent for a specific Item, let the user authorize in the Connect Widget, then watch the status through a webhook and handle success or failure.

The skill ships no API calls of its own — it sets the order of steps and the mistakes people make. If you already have a working Pluggy integration and your own payment flow, the Smart Transfers and PIX Automático sections are where you will get the most.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add pluggyai/agent-skills --skill pluggy-payments -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/pluggy-payments/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/pluggy-payments/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add pluggyai/agent-skills --skill pluggy-payments -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/pluggy-payments/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add pluggyai/agent-skills --skill pluggy-payments -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/pluggy-payments/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install pluggyai/agent-skills pluggy-payments
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/pluggy-payments/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add pluggyai/agent-skills --skill pluggy-payments -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/pluggyai/agent-skills --path skills/pluggy-payments
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/pluggy-payments/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add pluggyai/agent-skills --skill pluggy-payments -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**

## When to use it
- run a PIX payment from request creation to confirmation
- set up a Smart Transfer with preauthorization
- walk through the payment intent lifecycle
- issue and manage Boletos
- schedule a deferred payment with PIX Agendado

## Example prompts
- help me implement a PIX payment through Pluggy, from payment request to webhook
- show me how to set up a Smart Transfer with preauthorization
- walk me through the payment intent lifecycle and where it typically breaks

## How to Use

Read individual rule files for detailed explanations and code examples:

```
rules/pix-initiation.md
rules/smart-preauthorization.md
rules/payment-lifecycle.md
```

Each rule file contains:

- Brief explanation of why it matters
- Incorrect code example with explanation
- Correct code example with explanation
- Additional context and references
- Pluggy-specific notes

## Payment Flow Overview

```
