A meta-skill that picks a chain of skills for a bug and walks it from diagnosis to commit. Handy when you don't know where to start.

## What it does

\`fix` is a meta-skill that routes the work itself. It splits a fix into chains of specialized skills and follows them. A plain bug goes `debug` → `implement_task` → `test-driven-development` → `commit`. A Claude hook issue goes `debug-hooks` → `hook-developer` → `implement_task` → hook test. Dependency errors go `dependency-preflight` → `oracle` → `plan-agent` → `implement_plan` → `qlty-check`. PR feedback goes `github-search` → `research-codebase` → `plan-agent` → `implement_plan` → `commit`.

Run `/fix` with no arguments and it asks questions through AskUserQuestion: what to fix, what the issue is, how deep to investigate, whether to write a regression test and whether to commit. Flags exist too: `--no-test` skips the test, `--dry-run` diagnoses without touching code, `--no-commit` leaves git alone. During investigation it spawns the `sleuth` subagent in parallel to check logs, database state, git and running processes, then prints a report with a hypothesis and the files it wants to change.

Before implementing, the skill waits for your confirmation. No answer, no edits. So there is no autopilot here — read the diagnosis and agree. It runs in Claude, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI and OpenCode.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add parcadei/Continuous-Claude-v3 --skill fix -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/fix/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/fix/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add parcadei/Continuous-Claude-v3 --skill fix -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/fix/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add parcadei/Continuous-Claude-v3 --skill fix -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/fix/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install parcadei/Continuous-Claude-v3 fix
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/fix/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add parcadei/Continuous-Claude-v3 --skill fix -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/parcadei/Continuous-Claude-v3 --path .claude/skills/fix
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/fix/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add parcadei/Continuous-Claude-v3 --skill fix -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/parcadei/Continuous-Claude-v3/tree/HEAD/.claude/skills/fix/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- walk a bug from diagnosis to commit in one chain
- find the cause from logs, database state and git
- fix a Claude hook that never fires
- sort out import and package errors
- address reviewer comments on a PR

## Example prompts
- /fix bug login button unresponsive in Safari
- /fix hook hook doesn't fire on file save
- /fix deps import error when building

# Fix

Workflow orchestrator for bug investigation and resolution. Chains specialized skills based on issue scope.

## Usage

```
/fix <scope> [options] [description]
```

## Question Flow (No Arguments)

If the user types just `/fix` with no or partial arguments, guide them through this question flow. Use AskUserQuestion for each phase.

### Phase 0: Workflow Selection

```yaml
question: "What would you like to fix?"
header: "Fix type"
options:
  - label: "Help me choose (Recommended)"
    description: "I'll ask questions to pick the right fix workflow"
  - label: "Bug - something is broken"
    description: "Chain: investigate → diagnose → implement → test → commit"
  - label: "Hook - Claude Code hook issue"
    description: "Chain: debug-hooks → hook-developer → implement → test"
  - label: "Dependencies - import/package errors"
    description: "Chain: preflight → research → plan → implement → qlty-check"
  - label: "PR Comments - address reviewer feedback"
    description: "Chain: github-search → research → plan → implement → commit"
```

**Mapping:**
- "Help me choose" → Continue to Phase 1-4 questions
- "Bug" → Set scope=bug, skip to Phase 2 (issue details)
- "Hook" → Set scope=hook, skip to Phase 2 (issue details)
- "Dependencies" → Set scope=deps, skip to Phase 2 (issue details)
- "PR Comments" → Set scope=pr-comments, skip to Phase 2 (issue details)

**If Answer is Unclear (via "Other"):**
```yaml
question: "I want to understand what kind of fix you need. Did you mean..."
header: "Clarify"
options:
  - label: "Help me choose"
    description: "Not sure - guide me through questions"
  - label: "Bug - something is broken"
    description: "Code isn't working as expected"
  - label: "Hook - Claude Code hook issue"
    description: "Hooks not firing or producing wrong output"
  - label: "Neither - let me explain differently"
    description: "I'll describe my issue"
```

### Phase 1: Issue Type

```yaml
question: "What kind of issue are you dealing with?"
header: "Issue type"
options:
  - label: "Something is broken/not working"
    description: "Bug in the code"
  - label: "Claude Code hook not firing"
    description: "Hook-specific debugging"
  - label: "Import/dependency errors"
    description: "Package or module issues"
  - label: "Need to address PR feedback"
    description: "Reviewer comments to fix"
```

**Mapping:**
- "Something broken" → bug scope
- "Hook not firing" → hook scope
