## What it does

The skill runs `scripts/mcp/firecrawl_scrape.py` with `uv run python -m runtime.harness`. Pass a page URL and, if needed, choose `markdown`, `html`, or `text` as the output format. Markdown is used when no format is supplied. To search instead of scraping a specific page, provide a query with `--search`.

A `firecrawl` server must be configured in `mcp_config.json`, with `FIRECRAWL_API_KEY` available. Without that server setup, the script cannot fetch page content. The extracted result can be used to inspect a page or retrieve structured data from it.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add parcadei/Continuous-Claude-v3 --skill firecrawl-scrape -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/firecrawl-scrape/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/firecrawl-scrape/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add parcadei/Continuous-Claude-v3 --skill firecrawl-scrape -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/firecrawl-scrape/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add parcadei/Continuous-Claude-v3 --skill firecrawl-scrape -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/firecrawl-scrape/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install parcadei/Continuous-Claude-v3 firecrawl-scrape
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/firecrawl-scrape/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add parcadei/Continuous-Claude-v3 --skill firecrawl-scrape -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/parcadei/Continuous-Claude-v3 --path .claude/skills/firecrawl-scrape
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/firecrawl-scrape/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add parcadei/Continuous-Claude-v3 --skill firecrawl-scrape -a opencode
```

## When to use it
- extract a web page as Markdown
- retrieve page content as HTML or plain text
- search the web and collect matching content
- pull structured data from a web page

## Example prompts
