## What it does

Open-AutoGLM is an open-source phone agent framework. The AutoGLM-Phone-9B vision-language model reads a screenshot and turns a task like opening an app and searching inside it into a sequence of device actions. The skill packages the setup knowledge so your coding agent does not have to guess at it.

Device control runs through ADB on Android, HDC on HarmonyOS NEXT and WebDriverAgent on iOS. You can self-host the model with vLLM or SGLang, or point the agent at BigModel and ModelScope with an API key. Android needs ADB Keyboard installed, otherwise text input fails. Python 3.10+ and USB debugging are the other prerequisites.

Before running real tasks, verify the deployment with `check_deployment_cn.py`. A short or garbled reasoning block means the server is misconfigured, and that is worth fixing before you hand the agent a phone. Pick the multilingual model build when the apps you target are not in Chinese.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add reason-machines/trending-skills --skill open-autoglm-phone-agent -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/open-autoglm-phone-agent/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/open-autoglm-phone-agent/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add reason-machines/trending-skills --skill open-autoglm-phone-agent -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/open-autoglm-phone-agent/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add reason-machines/trending-skills --skill open-autoglm-phone-agent -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/open-autoglm-phone-agent/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install reason-machines/trending-skills open-autoglm-phone-agent
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/open-autoglm-phone-agent/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add reason-machines/trending-skills --skill open-autoglm-phone-agent -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/reason-machines/trending-skills --path skills/open-autoglm-phone-agent
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/open-autoglm-phone-agent/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add reason-machines/trending-skills --skill open-autoglm-phone-agent -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/reason-machines/trending-skills/tree/HEAD/skills/open-autoglm-phone-agent/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- drive an Android device from plain-text commands
- self-host AutoGLM-Phone-9B with vLLM
- connect the phone agent to BigModel or ModelScope with an API key
- verify that a model deployment answers correctly
- run multi-step phone tasks from Python code

## Example prompts
- Set up Open-AutoGLM for Android: check `adb devices` and start the agent
- Deploy AutoGLM-Phone-9B with vLLM and verify it using `check_deployment_cn.py`
- Write a Python script with `PhoneAgent` that opens an app and searches for a product
