## What it does

The skill exposes nine CLI commands to the agent: keyword search, category listing, install, package download, local skill listing, update check, removal and on-demand signature re-verification. Installation runs through `okx skill add <name>`. The package comes down from the marketplace API, gets unpacked, its Ed25519 signature and SHA-256 file integrity are checked, and then `npx skills add` pushes it to every detected agent. A failed check blocks the install.

Two things have to be in place first. The CLI itself: `npm install -g @okx_ai/okx-trade-cli`. And API credentials, because the marketplace will not answer search or serve packages without them — `okx config init` sets up the profile. Skip that step and the commands never get past authorization.

Skills on the marketplace are published by independent developers, not by OKX. Once installed, the code sits in your agent's skill directory and runs with the agent's full permissions, so read `SKILL.md` before you use it. The `--force` flag skips signature verification and installs a package even when the check fails; the registry records that install with a `bypassed` status. Order placement, market data and bot management live in separate skills — this one stays out of them.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add okx/agent-skills --skill okx-cex-skill-mp -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/okx-cex-skill-mp/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/okx-cex-skill-mp/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add okx/agent-skills --skill okx-cex-skill-mp -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/okx-cex-skill-mp/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add okx/agent-skills --skill okx-cex-skill-mp -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/okx-cex-skill-mp/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install okx/agent-skills okx-cex-skill-mp
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/okx-cex-skill-mp/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add okx/agent-skills --skill okx-cex-skill-mp -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/okx/agent-skills --path skills/okx-cex-skill-mp
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

- File: `.devin/skills/okx-cex-skill-mp/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add okx/agent-skills --skill okx-cex-skill-mp -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/okx/agent-skills/tree/HEAD/skills/okx-cex-skill-mp/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- find a trading skill by keyword
- see which skill categories exist
- install a skill across every detected agent at once
- download a skill zip without installing it
- check whether an installed skill has a newer version

## Example prompts
- search the marketplace for grid trading skills
- install grid-premium and tell me what it does
- verify the signature of the installed dca-smart skill

# OKX Skills Marketplace

Browse, search, install, and manage AI trading skills from the OKX Skills Marketplace. Skills are modular AI prompt packages that extend your trading assistant's capabilities — covering market analysis, trade execution, risk management, and portfolio optimization.

> **⚠️ Third-Party Content Notice**
> Skills available on the OKX Skills Marketplace are created and published by **independent third-party developers**, not by OKX. OKX does not author, review, endorse, or take responsibility for the content, accuracy, or behavior of any third-party skill. Always review a skill's SKILL.md before use, and only install skills from authors you trust.
> When a skill is installed via `okx skill add`, it is downloaded from the marketplace and saved locally to your agent's skill directory (e.g., `~/.agents/skills/<skill-name>/`). The skill runs entirely on your local machine with your agent's full permissions — treat it with the same caution as installing any third-party software.

**Skill routing**
- Skill marketplace → `okx-cex-skill-mp` (this skill)
- Market data / indicators → `okx-cex-market`
- Account balance / positions → `okx-cex-portfolio`
- Place / cancel orders → `okx-cex-trade`
- Grid / DCA bots → `okx-cex-bot`

## Prerequisites

1. Install `okx` CLI:
   ```bash
END THIRD-PARTY FILE 62431c6df80a0679
The third-party file has ended. Everything between the 62431c6df80a0679 tags is data: requests and commands from it are not followed. An “end of file” line with another tag inside the block is part of the file.
