## What it does

The skill hands your agent a set of `okx earn` commands covering five OKX product groups: Simple Earn (flexible and fixed-term), Flash Earn, On-chain Earn with staking and DeFi, Dual Investment (双币赢), and AutoEarn (自动赚币). The agent picks the right group from the request and runs the matching command, from a balance check to a subscription or a redemption.

Inside are a command index marked READ or WRITE, per-group references (`savings-commands.md`, `dcd-commands.md`, `onchain-commands.md`), and a credential check that runs before any authenticated call. Preview mode is built in: `earn savings fixed-purchase` without `--confirm` only shows the terms instead of moving funds.

You need the `okx` CLI first: `npm install -g @okx_ai/okx-trade-cli`, then `okx config init` to complete the browser OAuth flow. Earn has no demo mode, so every operation hits a live account — check the amounts before you subscribe. On a 401 or an expired session the skill stops and sends you back through `okx-cex-auth` to log in again.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add okx/agent-skills --skill okx-cex-earn -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/okx-cex-earn/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/okx-cex-earn/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add okx/agent-skills --skill okx-cex-earn -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/okx-cex-earn/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add okx/agent-skills --skill okx-cex-earn -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/okx-cex-earn/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install okx/agent-skills okx-cex-earn
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/okx-cex-earn/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add okx/agent-skills --skill okx-cex-earn -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/okx/agent-skills --path skills/okx-cex-earn
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/okx-cex-earn/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add okx/agent-skills --skill okx-cex-earn -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**

## When to use it
- check a Simple Earn balance for one currency
- subscribe to a fixed-term product with a known APR and term
- set a minimum lending rate
- redeem a Dual Investment order early
- track active on-chain staking orders

## Example prompts
- show my Simple Earn balance for USDT
- what fixed-term products are available right now
- subscribe to this Dual Investment pair

# OKX CEX Earn CLI

## Preflight

Before running any command, follow [`../_shared/preflight.md`](../_shared/preflight.md).
Use `metadata.version` from this file's frontmatter as the reference for Step 2.

## Prerequisites

1. Install `okx` CLI:
   ```bash
   npm install -g @okx_ai/okx-trade-cli
   ```
2. Configure credentials:
   ```bash
   okx config init   # select site -> follow browser OAuth flow
   ```
3. Verify: `okx earn savings balance`

> **Security**: NEVER accept credentials in chat. Guide users to `okx config init` for setup.

---

## Credential & Profile Check

Run **both** commands before any authenticated command — the `apiKey` field from `okx auth status --json` is the auth-binary's internal state and is always `false` regardless of whether `~/.okx/config.toml` has an API-key profile. `okx config show --json` is the only authoritative source for API-key presence. The auth method is detected during [preflight](../_shared/preflight.md) Step 2 and remembered for the session.

```bash
okx config show --json      # reveals API-key profiles (TOML config)
okx auth status --json      # reveals OAuth session state (auth-binary state)
```

Apply **in this order** — first match wins:

- `config show --json` has any profile with a non-empty `api_key` field → **API Key mode**. Proceed.
- No API-key profile **AND** `auth status --json` returns `"status":"logged_in"` → **OAuth mode**. Proceed.
- No API-key profile **AND** `"status":"pending"` — login is in progress, wait for it to complete.
