## What it does

The skill takes candidate and role details and returns a finished letter: an opening, a position block, compensation, benefits, contingencies and a signature section. The required set is the candidate name, job title, start date, base salary and its frequency, employment type and the manager the person reports to. Everything else is optional — equity and bonuses, benefits, work location, response deadline, pre-hire checks.

What you get is a structure and section templates, not legal copy. The author states plainly that this is a template guide rather than legal advice, and that employment law varies by jurisdiction. So run the draft past HR or counsel before sending, especially if equity or cross-border terms are involved.

To produce actual files the skill relies on the `office-mcp` MCP server with the `create_docx`, `fill_docx_template` and `docx_to_pdf` tools. Without it you get letter text, not a document. Letters can be written in English or Chinese.
