## What it does

The skill inspects Nowledge Mem by running `nmem --json status`. It reports whether the server is reachable and checks database connectivity. The command also displays backend and `nmem` versions.

Testing requires an active Nowledge Mem backend or desktop app. The `nmem-cli` package installs via `pip`, `uvx`, or Arch Linux package managers `yay` and `paru`.

Remote mode requires valid configuration. Without `apiUrl` and `apiKey` inside `~/.nowledge-mem/config.json`, the diagnostic check fails.
