# nodeops-auth

## What it does

The skill adds `@nodeops-createos/integration-oauth`, exposes routes for the current user and token exchange, and places `AuthProvider` around the root layout. It also creates `app/callback/page.tsx`, where the post-login destination is configured.

It prepares environment templates and a local environment file for NodeOps settings. The workflow checks `.gitignore` and keeps `.env.local` out of version control. Credentials from the NodeOps developer portal are required, including `NEXT_PUBLIC_NODEOPS_CLIENT_ID` and `NODEOPS_CLIENT_SECRET`.

A project that uses `pages/` instead of `app/` stops the setup because this skill requires Next.js App Router. File extensions follow the presence of `tsconfig.json`, while package installation follows the detected lockfile.

## When to use it
- connect NodeOps sign-in to a Next.js app
- add user and token API routes
- place `AuthProvider` in the root layout
- create the post-login callback page
- prepare environment variables and protect `.env.local`
