## What it does

The skill runs semantic and pattern searches through `scripts/mcp/nia_docs.py`. It inspects indexed packages across npm, PyPI, Crates, and Go modules. Queries default to npm with a limit of 5 results, but the registry can be set to `py_pi`, `crates`, or `go_modules`.

Commands execute via `Bash` with `uv run`. The script accepts `--query` for semantic queries, `--grep` for regex matching, and `--search` for broad scans across all indexed sources.

Execution fails immediately if `NIA_API_KEY` is missing from the environment and no `nia` server is set in `mcp_config.json`.

## Usage

### Semantic search in a package

## Options

| Option | Description |
|--------|-------------|
| `--package` | Package name to search in |
