## What it does

SocialClaw is a hosted publishing service reachable at `https://getsocialclaw.com`. The skill is an instruction layer on top of it, so the agent knows how to fetch a workspace key, talk to the HTTP API, and respect each provider's caveats. A separate npm package named `socialclaw` exists as an optional client for the same service; the skill runs fine without it.

The flow goes like this: confirm the workspace key, validate access, list accounts or start a connection, read the target account's capabilities, upload media, preview the draft, then apply it. Afterwards you can inspect posts, runs and analytics. The key lives in `SC_API_KEY` and travels in the `Authorization: Bearer <key>` header. Provider app secrets never get requested — end users connect their accounts inside SocialClaw.

A key by itself won't execute anything. Errors such as `plan_required` or `subscription_inactive` mean an active trial or paid plan is missing, and retrying the command won't help; the user goes to the pricing page or the dashboard instead. TikTok galleries are their own trap: images and video can't be mixed, and oversized or odd dimensions clear SocialClaw validation and TikTok's first acceptance only to fail later with `picture_size_check_failed`. When that happens, regenerate the images and upload the corrected files.

## Requirements
- Works with: LinkedIn

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add ndesv21/socialclaw --skill socialclaw -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/socialclaw/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/socialclaw/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add ndesv21/socialclaw --skill socialclaw -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/socialclaw/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add ndesv21/socialclaw --skill socialclaw -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/socialclaw/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install ndesv21/socialclaw socialclaw
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/socialclaw/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add ndesv21/socialclaw --skill socialclaw -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/ndesv21/socialclaw --path skills/socialclaw
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/socialclaw/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add ndesv21/socialclaw --skill socialclaw -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/ndesv21/socialclaw/tree/HEAD/skills/socialclaw/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- connect an X, LinkedIn or Telegram account to a workspace
- upload media and get a delivery URL
- preview a scheduled post before it goes out
- find out why a TikTok gallery never appeared
- check analytics and account health

## Example prompts
- List the social accounts connected to my SocialClaw workspace
- Upload `./image.png` and schedule a LinkedIn post for tomorrow
- Reconcile my TikTok gallery post and tell me the status

# SocialClaw

SocialClaw is a workspace-scoped social publishing service at `https://getsocialclaw.com`.

This skill is an instruction layer for the hosted SocialClaw service. It teaches Claude Code how to:
- get or use a workspace API key
- call the SocialClaw HTTP API
- understand provider and account-type caveats
- optionally use the separate `socialclaw` CLI if it is already installed

This skill can work without the CLI. The CLI is only an optional client for the same hosted service.

Use this skill when the user wants to:
- connect or disconnect social accounts in a SocialClaw workspace
- upload media and get SocialClaw-hosted delivery URLs
- validate, preview, apply, or inspect scheduled posts and campaigns
- inspect connected account capabilities, publish settings, actions, jobs, health, or analytics

Do not use this skill for editing the SocialClaw codebase itself. This is for operating a deployed SocialClaw workspace.

## Defaults

- Base URL: `https://getsocialclaw.com`
- Auth: workspace API key in `Authorization: Bearer <key>`
- Preferred interface: `socialclaw` CLI when installed
- Fallback interface: SocialClaw HTTP API

## Runtime requirements

- Required env: `SC_API_KEY`
- Hosted base URL: `https://getsocialclaw.com`
- Optional CLI: `socialclaw` or `social` if already installed
- Workspace status: an active trial or paid plan is required for CLI/API execution through the workspace key

## Optional CLI

SocialClaw has a separate npm CLI package named `socialclaw`.

Prefer it when it is already installed or the user wants command-line examples. The CLI is a client for the hosted SocialClaw service. It can:
- store a workspace API key locally
- start account connection flows
- upload assets
- validate, preview, and apply schedules
- inspect posts, runs, analytics, usage, and workspace health
- install the packaged Claude Code command with `socialclaw install --claude`

If the user explicitly wants the CLI and it is not installed yet:

```bash
npm install -g socialclaw
```

## Quick start

If the user does not have a workspace API key yet:

```bash
open https://getsocialclaw.com/dashboard
```

Tell them:
- sign in with Google
- open the API key section
- create or copy their workspace API key

Set:

```bash
````
