## What it does

The skill produces a resonance report. Echo rate is the overlap between market language and the canon lexicon in `memory/narrative-registry/canon.md`, and the matching method is stated in the report. AI-answer perception comes from `scripts/connectors/tavily.py --answer` and stays proxy-labeled. Share of voice is measured on a locked competitor panel, reusing the machinery from `share-of-voice-tracker` with a narrative query-term set swapped in.

Resonance signals come from `bluesky.py`, `gdelt.py` and `pageviews.py`. Every number carries a Measured, proxy or User-provided label, and own exports carry an as-of date. A proxy figure is never asserted as Measured — that discipline is the upstream of the `E1` evidence-integrity veto. The report lands in `memory/narrative/narrative-resonance-monitor/`, and any effectiveness statement it cannot back goes to `memory/events/claims.ndjson` as `[needs source]` through `registry-events.py` with `operation: propose`.

The skill reads the canon lexicon and never edits it: `narrative-registry` is the sole writer of `memory/narrative-registry/`. Switch the canon, panel, method or stimulus and the trend restarts instead of merging histories. Own-site GA4 and GSC telemetry belongs to `performance-monitor`, and scoring the TALE profile is the job of `narrative-quality-auditor`.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill narrative-resonance-monitor -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/narrative-resonance-monitor/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/narrative-resonance-monitor/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill narrative-resonance-monitor -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/narrative-resonance-monitor/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill narrative-resonance-monitor -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/narrative-resonance-monitor/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills narrative-resonance-monitor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/narrative-resonance-monitor/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill narrative-resonance-monitor -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --path narrative/evaluate/narrative-resonance-monitor
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/narrative-resonance-monitor/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill narrative-resonance-monitor -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**

## When to use it
- measure how much market language overlaps the canon lexicon
- check how answer engines describe the brand against its positioning
- pull share of voice on a locked competitor panel
- collect resonance signals from Bluesky, GDELT and pageviews
- label every number as measured, proxy or user-provided

## Example prompts
- Measure narrative resonance for [brand] against our canon lexicon. Competitor panel: [list]. Platforms: [Bluesky / news / all keyless].
- Run the AI-answer perception check: how do answer engines describe [brand] vs our positioning statement? Use `tavily.py --answer` and label it proxy.
- Compute this quarter's echo rate — overlap of market language with our canon lexicon — and declare the matching method.
