## What it does

This skill takes a person photo URL and runs a two-stage media workflow. First, `gpt-image-v2-edit` creates one reference board with the character, kitchen setting, and nine cooking actions for the chosen dish. You can set the cuisine, outfit, duration, aspect ratio, and resolution.

The second stage calls `bytedance-seedance-2-0-reference-to-video-fast` with both the original photo and the board. It follows the nine actions in one continuous sequence, keeps the character and kitchen aligned, and adds ambient kitchen sounds with a light musical bed. Dropping either reference can lose the face or the kitchen setting.

The board must finish before the second, costly render begins, and the character likeness and kitchen mood should be confirmed first. The source photo needs to be reachable through a URL.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --skill muapi-storyboard-to-cooking-video -a claude-code
```
```bash
npx skills add SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --skill storyboard-to-cooking-video -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/storyboard-to-cooking-video/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/storyboard-to-cooking-video/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --skill storyboard-to-cooking-video -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/storyboard-to-cooking-video/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --skill storyboard-to-cooking-video -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/storyboard-to-cooking-video/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills storyboard-to-cooking-video
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/storyboard-to-cooking-video/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --skill storyboard-to-cooking-video -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --path library/motion/storyboard-to-cooking-video
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/storyboard-to-cooking-video/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --skill storyboard-to-cooking-video -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills/tree/HEAD/library/motion/storyboard-to-cooking-video/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- turn one portrait into a cooking video
- map a dish to nine visible preparation steps
- keep the subject’s face and outfit consistent
- set the kitchen mood and output format
- add cooking sounds without dialogue

## Example prompts
- Turn the photo at `person_image` into a 15-second fresh pasta tutorial.
- Create a vertical `9:16` sushi-roll video in a minimalist kitchen.
- Use `720p` with a white shirt and green apron, then show me the reference board before rendering.

# Storyboard to Cooking Video

**Turn a single photo of a person into a polished 15-second cinematic cooking tutorial. The skill first generates a high-end production reference sheet — character look, kitchen environment, and a 9-panel action board — then drives a continuous reference-to-video render that keeps the subject's face, outfit, and kitchen consistent across every frame.**

## Inputs

| Name | Type | Required | Default | Description |
|:---|:---|:---|:---|:---|
| `person_image` | image_url | yes | — | URL of the person photo. Used as identity reference in BOTH the reference sheet and the final video. |
| `dish` | text | no | fresh pasta | The cooking subject (e.g. "fresh pasta", "sushi rolls", "wood-fired pizza", "matcha latte"). Drives the 9-step action board. |
| `kitchen_style` | text | no | warm rustic-modern Italian | The kitchen aesthetic (e.g. "warm rustic-modern Italian", "minimalist Tokyo", "bright Scandinavian", "moody industrial"). |
| `outfit` | text | no | white t-shirt, olive green apron, dark trousers | What the person wears throughout the video. |
| `duration_seconds` | int | no | 15 | Final video duration. Use 15 for the full 9-step arc; 10 collapses to ~6 beats. |
| `aspect_ratio` | text | no | 16:9 | Output aspect ratio. Use `9:16` for vertical/Reels. |
| `resolution` | text | no | 720p | Video resolution. Options: `480p`, `720p`. |

## Steps

Submit the plan with TWO sequential steps. Step 2 depends on the output of Step 1.

### Step 1 — Reference Sheet (Composite Storyboard)

Generate the composite "production reference board" image. This is a single image, NOT a video frame — it bundles character sheet + location reference + 9-panel action board.

**Endpoint:** `gpt-image-v2-edit`
**CLI:**

```bash
muapi image edit \
  --model gpt-image-v2-edit \
  --image "{{person_image}}" \
  --image-size "3840x2160" \
  --quality auto \
  --background auto \
  --moderation low \
  --output-format png \
