## What it does

The skill reads three documents from the working directory or a `brand/` subfolder: `brand-identity.md` for visual style, palette and tone, `ICP.md` for the audience and its pain points, and `messaging.md` for value props, hooks and CTAs. A missing file does not stop the run. From that context the agent writes the post copy — hook, body, hashtags, one CTA — and a storyboard with timecodes sized to the target platform.

The storyboard becomes a technical Director Brief for Seedance 2.0: camera movement, lens, lighting, sound. Clips of 10 seconds and longer get timecode segments, and `@image1`, `@image2` tags go in when references exist. Stills come from `core/media/generate-image.sh`, with a different model for photorealism, stylized concept art or a character with identity. The video itself runs through `library/social/social-media-video/scripts/run-social-video.sh` in `t2v`, `i2v` or `first-last` mode.

Watch the aspect ratio. `1:1` and `21:9` need `--tier global` or `--tier vip`, since the Chinese tier only supports 16:9, 9:16, 4:3 and 3:4. Set the flag before you render, or you get the wrong frame.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --skill muapi-social-media-video -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/muapi-social-media-video/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/muapi-social-media-video/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --skill muapi-social-media-video -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/muapi-social-media-video/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --skill muapi-social-media-video -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/muapi-social-media-video/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills muapi-social-media-video
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/muapi-social-media-video/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --skill muapi-social-media-video -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --path .opencode/skills/muapi-social-media-video
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/muapi-social-media-video/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --skill muapi-social-media-video -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills/tree/HEAD/.opencode/skills/muapi-social-media-video/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- write post copy and a storyboard for one platform
- turn a storyboard into a Seedance 2.0 director prompt
- generate a reference frame for a product or character
- pick the generation mode that matches your assets
- match duration and aspect ratio to the feed

## Example prompts
- Read brand-identity.md, ICP.md and messaging.md, then write a post and storyboard for Instagram Reels
- Turn this storyboard into a Seedance 2.0 director brief with camera and sound
- Generate a product reference frame and run the video in i2v mode

# Social Media Video Creator

**End-to-end pipeline: Brand Files → Storyboard → Reference Images → Seedance 2.0 Video.**

Reads your brand identity, ICP, and messaging documents to produce on-brand social video — fully optimized for Seedance 2.0's instructional prompt grammar and your target platform.

---

## Agent Execution Protocol

### Step 1 — Read Brand Files

Before writing anything, the agent MUST read all available brand files. Look for them in the working directory or any `brand/` subdirectory:

| File | What to extract |
|:---|:---|
| `brand-identity.md` | Visual style, color palette, tone, logo/product aesthetics, brand personality |
| `ICP.md` | Target audience — who they are, their pain points, what motivates them |
| `messaging.md` | Core value props, hooks, CTAs, campaign themes, taglines |

If a file is missing, proceed with what's available and note the gap.

---

### Step 2 — Write the Social Post + Storyboard

Use brand context to produce:

**Social Post Copy** (for caption/copy):
- Hook line (first 1–2 sentences — must stop the scroll)
- Body (3–5 sentences: problem → solution → proof → CTA)
- Hashtags (5–8 relevant tags)
- CTA (one clear action)

**Storyboard** (match duration to platform spec):
```
0–3s:  [Opening scene — hook/visual surprise — camera move]
3–7s:  [Core message — product/subject in action — camera move]
7–10s: [Resolution — brand moment — CTA text on screen]
10–15s: [Logo/tagline hold — background music fade]
```

Tone must match brand personality. If brand is playful → upbeat transitions, bright grade.
If brand is premium → slow reveals, dark luxury aesthetic, moody lighting.

---

### Step 3 — Craft the Seedance 2.0 Director Prompt

Transform the storyboard into a **technical Director Brief** for Seedance 2.0.
