## What it does

This skill coordinates generative media tasks via the `muapi` CLI tool. During the initial step, the agent takes a portrait photo alongside a movie title and invokes `muapi image edit` powered by the `nano-banana-2-edit` model. It outputs a 9:16 vertical image showing the user holding a black iPhone 16 next to the lead actor amid cameras, lighting gear, and film crew.

After generating two or more portraits, the agent suggests assembling them into a moving sequence. It delegates rendering to video models such as `kling-o1-image-to-video`, `pixverse-v5.5-i2v`, or `veo3.1-image-to-video`. The first selfie serves as the opening frame and the next as the final frame, connected by a continuous camera track.

Execution requires the `muapi` command-line utility and a configured `MUAPI_API_KEY`. Without authenticating via `muapi auth configure` or providing the key variable in advance, every generation call fails immediately.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --skill muapi-selfie-with-celebrities -a claude-code
```
```bash
npx skills add SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --skill selfie-with-celebrities -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/selfie-with-celebrities/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/selfie-with-celebrities/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --skill selfie-with-celebrities -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/selfie-with-celebrities/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --skill selfie-with-celebrities -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/selfie-with-celebrities/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills selfie-with-celebrities
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/selfie-with-celebrities/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --skill selfie-with-celebrities -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --path library/visual/selfie-with-celebrities
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/selfie-with-celebrities/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --skill selfie-with-celebrities -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills/tree/HEAD/library/visual/selfie-with-celebrities/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- generate behind-the-scenes movie set selfies from portrait pictures
- produce vertical 9:16 celebrity photos with cinematic backgrounds
- stitch multiple AI selfies into a continuous transition video

## Example prompts
- Create a behind-the-scenes selfie from the set of The Matrix using portrait.jpg
- Generate another selfie on the set of Harry Potter with the lead actor
- Render a continuous cinematic video connecting my two movie selfies

# Selfie with Celebrities

**Generate a realistic behind-the-scenes selfie of the user with a celebrity or main actor from a specific movie, followed by an option to generate a cinematic long-take video connecting multiple selfies.**

## Inputs

| Name | Type | Required | Default | Description |
|:---|:---|:---|:---|:---|
| `movie_name` | text | yes | — | The name of the movie featuring the celebrity you want to take a selfie with (e.g., "Harry Potter", "The Matrix"). |
| `user_image` | image_url | yes | — | A clear photo of the user to be used for the selfie. |

## Steps

### Phase A — Generate First Selfie Image

If the `{{user_image}}` is not provided, ask the user to upload their image first.

Once provided, submit the plan with ONE step:

1. **Selfie Image Generation** — `muapi image edit` (model=`nano-banana-2-edit`):
   - Reference Image: `{{user_image}}`
   - Prompt: `POV: close up shot, A realistic photo of the person (don't change the person's original clothes) holding a black iPhone 16 to take a picture with the main actor from the movie "{{movie_name}}" on a movie set with movie scene background. Behind-the-scenes atmosphere, including film equipment, film cameras, filled with props, and busy crew members. Sharp focus on the characters. bright scene. Aspect ratio 9:16.`
   - Aspect ratio: 9:16

After generating the first image:
- Present the generated selfie to the user.
- Ask the user if they would like to create a second, third, etc. image with different movies or actors.
- Also, suggest to the user that once they have multiple images, you can create a seamless cinematic video transitioning between the selfies.

### Phase B — Generate Connecting Video (Only when requested)

If the user has generated at least two selfies and asks to create a video connecting them, submit the plan with ONE step:

1. **Cinematic Video Generation** — Use an image-to-video model like `kling-o1-image-to-video`, `pixverse-v5.5-i2v`, or `veo3.1-image-to-video`.
   - First frame image: The first generated selfie.
