## What it does

The skill drops two bash scripts into your project. `setup.sh` saves a muapi.ai key, prints the current config, and tests whether the key works. `check-result.sh` polls the platform by request ID: run it plain and it waits for completion, add `--once` and it checks a single time.

Install goes through `npx skills add`, so the scripts land in your platform's skills directory. The only stated requirement is `curl` — without it neither script runs. You also need a muapi.ai key before the first `setup.sh --add-key`, since there is nothing to save otherwise.

This is for the case where muapi.ai generation runs async and you want the result without hand-rolling the polling loop. The scripts are plain shell, so you can read exactly what they do before trusting them with a key.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --skill muapi-platform -a claude-code
```
```bash
npx skills add SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --skill platform -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/platform/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/platform/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --skill platform -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/platform/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --skill platform -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/platform/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills platform
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/platform/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --skill platform -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --path core/platform
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/platform/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills --skill platform -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills/tree/HEAD/core/platform/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- store a muapi.ai API key in the config
- verify the key is accepted by the platform
- inspect current settings without editing files
- wait for an async generation result by request ID
- run a single status check instead of waiting

## Example prompts
- save my muapi.ai key with setup.sh
- test whether my muapi.ai key is valid
- poll for the result of this request ID and show the output

# ⚙️ MuAPI Platform Utilities

**Setup and polling utilities for the muapi.ai platform.**

Configure your API key, verify connectivity, and poll for async generation results.

## Available Scripts

| Script | Description |
| :--- | :--- |
| `setup.sh` | Configure API key, show config, test key validity |
| `check-result.sh` | Poll for async generation results by request ID |

## Quick Start

```bash
# Save your API key
bash setup.sh --add-key "YOUR_MUAPI_KEY"
# Show current configuration
bash setup.sh --show-config
# Test API key validity
bash setup.sh --test
# Poll for a result (waits for completion)
bash check-result.sh --id "your-request-id"
# Check once without polling
bash check-result.sh --id "your-request-id" --once
```

## Requirements

- `curl`
