## What it does

Maz-UI v4 is a component library for Vue 3 and Nuxt 3. It ships over 50 components — `MazInput`, `MazSelect`, `MazTable` with sorting and pagination, `MazDialog`, `MazDrawer`, `MazCarousel`. Alongside them you get composables such as `useTheme()`, `useToast()` and `useFormValidator()` built on Valibot, five directives (`v-tooltip`, `v-click-outside`, `v-lazy-img`, `v-zoom-img`, `v-fullscreen-img`) and four plugins: AOS, Dialog, Toast, Wait.

The skill covers two setup paths. With Vue 3 you install `maz-ui` and `@maz-ui/themes`, then register the `MazUi` plugin in `main.ts` with a theme preset and translation messages. With Nuxt 3 you add the `@maz-ui/nuxt` module to `nuxt.config.ts` and components plus composables arrive through auto-imports, no manual imports. Templates come in both flavours: a basic form, a multi-step form with a stepper, a confirmation dialog, and a data table with search and sort.

One thing to watch: Nuxt templates call `$fetch`, while the Vite templates use plain `fetch()`. Copy code between the two sets and that part needs rewriting. The packages are split by purpose too — `@maz-ui/themes`, `@maz-ui/translations` and `@maz-ui/icons` install separately from the core.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

```bash
npx skills add secondsky/claude-skills --skill maz-ui -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/maz-ui/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/maz-ui/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add secondsky/claude-skills --skill maz-ui -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/maz-ui/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add secondsky/claude-skills --skill maz-ui -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/maz-ui/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install secondsky/claude-skills maz-ui
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/maz-ui/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add secondsky/claude-skills --skill maz-ui -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/secondsky/claude-skills --path plugins/maz-ui/skills/maz-ui
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/maz-ui/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

npx skills add secondsky/claude-skills --skill maz-ui -a opencode
```
### Claude.ai
**Claude.ai**
## When to use it
- build a validated form with Valibot
- show a confirmation dialog before deleting
- render a sortable, paginated data table
- wire up dark mode with a theme preset
- set up auto-imports in a Nuxt 3 app
## Example prompts
- Set up Maz-UI in my Nuxt 3 app using the @maz-ui/nuxt module
- Build a form with MazInput and MazSelect, validated by useFormValidator
- Add a MazTable with sorting and pagination for the orders list
