## What it does

llm-council runs a decision through five distinct viewpoints: a Contrarian, a First Principles Thinker, an Expansionist, an Outsider, and an Executor. They work independently, review each other anonymously, and pass their findings to a chairman that combines agreements, conflicts, and a final recommendation.

Before the session, the skill scans project context such as `CLAUDE.md`, `memory/`, referenced files, and earlier council transcripts. It reframes the question, then starts five sub-agents in parallel. This is a poor fit for a simple factual lookup because the skill is designed for decisions with real uncertainty, competing options, and costly mistakes.

## When to use it
- compare product launch options before committing
- find weak points in landing page copy
- pressure-test a business idea from several angles
- weigh hiring an assistant against building automation
- turn an unclear decision into a practical first step

## Example prompts
- \`council this`: compare these two positioning options and recommend one.
- \`pressure-test this`: review my course launch idea against the constraints in the project files.
- I am choosing between hiring an assistant and building an automation. `run the council` and give me the final recommendation.
