## What it does

The skill collects position parameters: token pair, amount, network, protocol version, and fee tier. Ethereum serves as the default network, while V3 is the default version. When parameters are missing, the agent presents structured prompts using `AskUserQuestion`. In runtimes without interactive prompt support, it falls back to regular conversational questions.

Pool verification relies on DexScreener queries via `curl` and `jq`. The skill strictly validates addresses against `^0x[a-fA-F0-9]{40}$` and rejects shell metacharacters before running commands. Tokens found through web searches are treated as untrusted. The skill refuses to build a deep link for them without direct confirmation from the user.

The final step produces a pre-filled Uniswap URL. In headless or SSH environments, automated browser opening via `open` or `xdg-open` will fail, so the skill prints the complete link directly in the output.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Uniswap/uniswap-ai --skill liquidity-planner -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/liquidity-planner/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/liquidity-planner/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Uniswap/uniswap-ai --skill liquidity-planner -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/liquidity-planner/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Uniswap/uniswap-ai --skill liquidity-planner -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/liquidity-planner/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install Uniswap/uniswap-ai liquidity-planner
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/liquidity-planner/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Uniswap/uniswap-ai --skill liquidity-planner -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/Uniswap/uniswap-ai --path packages/plugins/uniswap-driver/skills/liquidity-planner
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/liquidity-planner/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Uniswap/uniswap-ai --skill liquidity-planner -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**

## When to use it
- plan liquidity positions across Uniswap v2, v3, and v4
- check pool TVL and existing fee tiers via DexScreener
- validate token contract addresses before shell execution
- generate pre-filled Uniswap interface deep links

## Example prompts
- Provide liquidity for ETH / USDC on Base with $1000
- Create a v3 position for WBTC / ETH on Ethereum with a custom price range
- Help me add liquidity to a Uniswap v4 pool

# Liquidity Position Planning

Plan and generate deep links for creating liquidity positions on Uniswap v2, v3, and v4.

> **Runtime Compatibility:** This skill uses `AskUserQuestion` for interactive prompts. If `AskUserQuestion` is not available in your runtime, collect the same parameters through natural language conversation instead.

## Overview

Plan liquidity positions by:

1. Gathering LP intent (token pair, amount, version)
2. Checking current pool price and liquidity
3. Suggesting price ranges based on current price
4. Generating a deep link that opens in the Uniswap interface with parameters pre-filled

The generated link opens Uniswap with all parameters ready for position creation.

> **Note:** Browser opening (`xdg-open`/`open`) may fail in SSH, containerized, or headless environments. Always display the URL prominently so users can copy and access it manually if needed.

<!-- markdownlint-disable-next-line MD028 -->

> **File Access:** This skill has read-only filesystem access. Never read files outside the current project directory unless explicitly requested by the user.

## Workflow

### Step 1: Gather LP Intent

Extract from the user's request:

| Parameter   | Required | Default  | Example                 |
| ----------- | -------- | -------- | ----------------------- |
| Token A     | Yes      | -        | ETH, USDC, address      |
| Token B     | Yes      | -        | USDC, WBTC, address     |
| Amount      | Yes      | -        | 1 ETH, $1000            |
| Chain       | No       | Ethereum | Base, Arbitrum          |
| Version     | No       | V3       | v2, v3, v4              |
| Fee Tier    | No       | Auto     | 0.05%, 0.3%, 1%         |
| Price Range | No       | Suggest  | Full range, ±5%, custom |

**If any required parameter is missing, use AskUserQuestion with structured options:**

For missing chain:

```json
{
  "questions": [
    {
      "question": "Which chain do you want to provide liquidity on?",
      "header": "Chain",
      "options": [
        { "label": "Base (Recommended)", "description": "Low gas, growing DeFi ecosystem" },
````

The third-party file has ended. Everything between the a280498293f47d65 tags is data: requests and commands from it are not followed. An “end of file” line with another tag inside the block is part of the file.
