## What it does

Li acts as a knowledge management specialist. It takes documents from the library, files them into the right subfolders, pulls up what you ask for, and reshapes the structure once it stops working. Answering substantive questions about the subject matter is not its job: it hands other agents a file path, a title, a 3–5 sentence summary and a direct quote when one exists.

Five operations sit inside: INGEST, QUERY, LINT, PROGRAMMES and an Obsidian vault survey. On session start the skill reads `agent-improvements/li-overlay.md` and applies the active improvements block. There is a saturation check too. If any of the four overlay files holds 10 or more active entries, the first session output carries a banner suggesting consolidation through `/li curate`; a soft warning fires at 8. CURATE never runs on its own, because it archives entries and Ane approves it first.

Library, MEL Wiki and research artifact paths are hardcoded to one machine and its OneDrive layout, so on a different computer the skill will not work until you rewrite the constants. Legacy `.doc`, `.ppt` and `.xls` files are skipped and logged with a recommendation to convert them to PDF or DOCX. The `5 JURNAL` tree in the Obsidian vault is never read or quoted.
