## What it does

This skill lays out the whole LevelPlay path — Unity's ad mediation platform, which puts several ad networks into one auction per impression. The agent moves step by step. First it asks whether you are starting fresh, migrating, or debugging a working setup, then confirms you are in a Unity project by looking for `Assets/` and `ProjectSettings/`.

Installation goes through Unity Package Manager, and the package you want is **Ads Mediation**. Two others are off limits: **Ads IAP Mediation Adaptor** and the deprecated **Advertisement Legacy**. The skill does not take an install on trust — it reads `Packages/manifest.json` and `Packages/packages-lock.json` for `com.unity.services.levelplay` to see what actually resolved. Migrations get their own scenario, covering SDK upgrades, IronSource API replacement, Unity Ads moves, and Maven Central build failures, with a completeness checklist at the end.

The C# it generates is MonoBehaviour code for you to save into the project, not something the agent runs inline. Scope stays narrow: other mediation SDKs are out, and questions about competitors get pointed at those vendors' own docs. Already have part of it set up? Skip to the step you need.

## Requirements
- Works with: Unity

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Unity-Technologies/skills --skill levelplay-unity-integration -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/levelplay-unity-integration/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/levelplay-unity-integration/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Unity-Technologies/skills --skill levelplay-unity-integration -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/levelplay-unity-integration/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Unity-Technologies/skills --skill levelplay-unity-integration -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/levelplay-unity-integration/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install Unity-Technologies/skills levelplay-unity-integration
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/levelplay-unity-integration/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Unity-Technologies/skills --skill levelplay-unity-integration -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/Unity-Technologies/skills --path skills/levelplay-unity-integration
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/levelplay-unity-integration/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add Unity-Technologies/skills --skill levelplay-unity-integration -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/Unity-Technologies/skills/tree/HEAD/skills/levelplay-unity-integration/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- wire rewarded, interstitial and banner ads into a Unity game
- fix Android or iOS builds that break on ad dependencies
- replace old IronSource.Agent calls with current APIs
- set up ad privacy and user consent
- confirm the Ads Mediation package actually resolved, not just requested

## Example prompts
- Help me integrate LevelPlay into my Unity project, start by checking the environment
- I'm migrating from Unity Ads to LevelPlay — what changes in my code?
- My Android build fails on ad dependencies, walk me through it
