## What it does

The skill parses PDF, DOCX, and text files, then structures sections, clauses, definitions, parties, and dates. It can classify contracts such as NDAs, employment agreements, service contracts, purchases, and leases. Key terms, renewal rules, payments, performance measures, duties, rights, and liabilities are extracted.

Risk checks cover financial exposure, unclear language, conflicting clauses, operational issues, and compliance topics such as GDPR and data protection. The workflow can also research laws for a contract type and jurisdiction, regulatory duties, case law, and established precedents.

A report can present the extracted terms, obligations, risk assessment, compliance gaps, and recommendations. Document processing names `pypdf`, `python-docx`, `textract`, and OCR libraries. Major issues still call for legal counsel.
