# launch-day-conductor

Runs launch day as a war room: verifies the pre-conditions, builds an hour-blocked runbook with owners, and forces a CONTINUE-or-ROLLBACK verdict after every irreversible push.

## What it does

The skill takes two hard pre-conditions: a SHIP verdict from `launch-readiness-auditor` and the authoritative date from `launch-registry`. Missing either one stops it. From there the channel plan becomes a dated runbook blocked by hour, with an owner column — morning irreversible pushes, a daytime monitoring loop, evening consolidation.

Every irreversible action is followed by a forced observation window and a binary verdict against kill criteria declared up front. Incidents go down a P0–P3 ladder with separate rollback playbooks, and T-0 status lines feed the registry proposal protocol through `registry-events.py` with `operation: propose`. Canonical registry files stay with `launch-registry`; this skill never writes them.

Live window reads come from your own analytics plus connectors: `scripts/connectors/hn.py`, `scripts/connectors/producthunt.py`, `scripts/connectors/appstore.py`, `scripts/connectors/gdelt.py`. Product Hunt needs a free developer token, and its API terms are non-commercial — business use requires Product Hunt approval and attribution. Worth checking before you wire it in. Channel submission copy and platform rules belong to `community-launch-runner`; journalist replies belong to `press-media-relations`.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill launch-day-conductor -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/launch-day-conductor/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/launch-day-conductor/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill launch-day-conductor -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/launch-day-conductor/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill launch-day-conductor -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/launch-day-conductor/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills launch-day-conductor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/launch-day-conductor/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill launch-day-conductor -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --path launch/mobilize/launch-day-conductor
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/launch-day-conductor/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill launch-day-conductor -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**

## When to use it
- verify launch pre-conditions before the day starts
- build an hour-blocked runbook with an owner per row
- decide CONTINUE or ROLLBACK after an irreversible push
- classify an incident P0–P3 and run the rollback playbook
- consolidate the day into a snapshot and registry proposals

## Example prompts
- Run my launch day for [product] on [date]. Gate verdict: SHIP. Channels going live: [list]. Owners: [names].
- Build a dated hour-blocked launch-day runbook for a [T1/T2/T3] launch — morning pushes, daytime monitoring loop, evening consolidation, owner per row.
- We shipped the release 20 minutes ago. Here is the error rate and signup funnel export — CONTINUE or ROLLBACK?
