## What it does

The skill fires when you ask to package the launch assets, build a press kit, or prep the store listing and go-live checklist. What comes back is a tier-scoped manifest — artifact, owner, spec source, production status — frozen under `launch_ref`, `manifest_version` and `manifest_hash`. Alongside it you get a press kit section spec, a demo script with a screenshot shot list, and a launch FAQ outline.

Listing drafts for both stores are checked against the official character budgets from App Store Connect and Play Console documentation, not from third-party tooling. The technical go-live checklist is a separate manifest item: robots flip, sitemap, OG tags, analytics verification. The skill only lists and tracks those rows — execution belongs to `technical-seo-checker` and `serp-markup-builder`.

Scope is tight. Message copy goes to `message-house-builder` or `content-writer`, landing page UX to `landing-optimizer`, store keyword research beyond budget-fitting to `keyword-research`. The skill reads the Narrative and claims projections and blocks work when the canon version does not match the source message house or a material claim is unresolved. Worth checking that your message house is already assembled and approved before you start.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill launch-asset-packager -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/launch-asset-packager/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/launch-asset-packager/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill launch-asset-packager -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/launch-asset-packager/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill launch-asset-packager -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/launch-asset-packager/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills launch-asset-packager
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/launch-asset-packager/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill launch-asset-packager -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --path launch/assemble/launch-asset-packager
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/launch-asset-packager/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill launch-asset-packager -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

## When to use it
- assemble a launch asset manifest with owners and statuses
- spec the press kit sections per the presskit() convention
- write a demo script and screenshot shot list
- fit listing metadata into App Store and Play character budgets
- list go-live technical items with their executors

## Example prompts
- Package the launch assets for our app — tier T2, channels: press, stores. What exists already: links below.
- Build the press kit spec, plus a demo script and shot list for the walkthrough video.
- Draft the App Store + Play listing metadata against the official character budgets, and give me the technical go-live checklist for the site.
