## What it does

The skill lays out an order of work: pick one conversion action, lock the 11-element structure, then write copy and design. Copy follows one of three frameworks — PAS, AIDA or StoryBrand — and the choice depends on whether the product has a sharp pain point. Each section has its own rules: hero value prop in 10 words or fewer, 3–5 features written as benefits, 4–6 testimonials with a specific result, an FAQ of 5–10 objections.

Two references ship with it: `references/11-essential-elements.md` walks through every element, and `references/component-examples.md` holds ShadCN components. The stated build stack is Next.js 14+, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and ShadCN UI, with the order running from design system and SEO metadata through header, hero, media, benefits, testimonials, FAQ, final CTA and footer. Pick one aesthetic direction out of five and keep it across the page.

Before asking anything, the skill reads project context: `strategy/brand.md` for brand, audience and offer, `about/me.md` for personal voice, `content/ideas.md` and `content/calendar.md` for content planning. Drafts go to `content/<platform>/drafts/YYYY-MM-DD_short-topic-slug.md`. If those files aren't in your repo, expect the skill to ask you for the same details by hand.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add manojbajaj95/claude-gtm-plugin --skill landing-page-optimization -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/landing-page-optimization/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/landing-page-optimization/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add manojbajaj95/claude-gtm-plugin --skill landing-page-optimization -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/landing-page-optimization/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add manojbajaj95/claude-gtm-plugin --skill landing-page-optimization -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/landing-page-optimization/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install manojbajaj95/claude-gtm-plugin landing-page-optimization
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/landing-page-optimization/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

npx skills add manojbajaj95/claude-gtm-plugin --skill landing-page-optimization -a opencode
```
### Claude.ai
**Claude.ai**
## When to use it
- write a hero headline that states the offer in 10 words
- lay out a page across all 11 required elements
- turn feature lists into benefits with concrete numbers
- draft an FAQ that handles pricing and refund objections
- pick one aesthetic direction and hold it section to section
## Example prompts
- build a landing page for our SaaS using the 11-element structure
- rewrite the hero and CTA so the offer reads in 10 words
- review this page for conversion and tell me what's missing
# Landing Page Optimization
## Workspace Context
Read bootstrap context before asking questions: `strategy/brand.md` for brand, audience, offer, channels, tools, constraints, and metrics; `about/me.md` for personal voice; `content/ideas.md` and `content/calendar.md` for content planning. Use legacy product-marketing context files only as fallback. Save generated drafts to `content/<platform>/drafts/YYYY-MM-DD_short-topic-slug.md`, and route durable learnings back to `strategy/brand.md`, `about/me.md`, or `content/ideas.md`.
## Operating Contract
This skill is self-contained for its frontmatter scope: use its local instructions, references, scripts, and assets as the playbook; ask only for missing task-specific inputs; hand off to adjacent skills instead of expanding scope; and return an actionable artifact, decision, plan, draft, or diagnostic.
Build, write, and optimize high-converting landing pages combining proven copy frameworks, the 11-essential-elements structure, and a clear creation workflow.
---
## 1. Copy Framework
### Gather Before Writing
Collect these inputs before drafting any copy:
- Product/service name and core value proposition
- Target audience and their primary pain point
- Key differentiator vs alternatives
- Desired visitor action (CTA goal)
- Available social proof (testimonials, stats, logos)
### Choose a Framework
| Framework | When to Use |
|-----------|-------------|
| **PAS** (Problem → Agitate → Solution) | Strong pain point, emotional product |
| **AIDA** (Attention → Interest → Desire → Action) | General purpose, awareness campaigns |
```
