# landing-optimizer

Audits a landing page that receives creator-campaign traffic: message match, page structure, CTA and promo codes. Useful when clicks arrive but conversion stalls.

## What it does

The skill kicks in when you ask it to fix a landing page for influencer traffic or a promo code. You get a message-match audit, recommendations for the first screen and social proof, a conversion plan for CTA and promo codes, and an A/B test roadmap. It works through numbered steps, with fill-in templates and HTML snippets kept in `references/templates.md`.

No live integrations are required. You supply the page locator, current conversion data and the promo code; if analytics, an A/B platform or a CMS is connected, the skill pulls metrics and page structure from there instead of asking.

Creator content gets its own gate. Before proposing a name, quote, video or screenshot, the skill wants a frozen approval from `creator-content-auditor` plus an active rights record scoped to channel, territory, format and duration. If the rights expire during the proposed test, or a field is missing, that reuse is marked `NEEDS_INPUT` and never copied or tested. Worth checking your creator agreements before you start.

Measuring the result after launch is a different skill: `performance-analyzer`.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill landing-optimizer -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/landing-optimizer/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/landing-optimizer/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill landing-optimizer -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/landing-optimizer/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill landing-optimizer -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/landing-optimizer/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills landing-optimizer
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/landing-optimizer/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill landing-optimizer -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**

```
### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)
**Manually: put the files in place**
### OpenCode
**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill landing-optimizer -a opencode
```
### Claude.ai
**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills
## When to use it
- check whether the creator's ad copy matches the first screen
- fix a page where the promo code will not auto-apply
- place social proof where visitors actually see it
- cut extra steps from the mobile checkout path
- write an A/B test roadmap with a hypothesis and success metric
## Example prompts
- Optimize our landing page for traffic from [influencer campaign]
- Our influencer landing page has [X%] conversion rate. How can we improve it?
- Check whether the post from [influencer handle] matches the page headline and promo code
