## What it does

The `seo-geo-claude-skills` repository is now a signpost. Its skills are no longer developed there, and `research/keyword-research/SKILL.md` exists only so older links keep resolving. The active version lives at `seo-geo/research/keyword-research` inside the `aaron-marketing-skills` bundle, while a frozen standalone copy sits under tag `v9.9.12`.

Install goes through `npx skills add` with an agent flag. For Claude: `npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/seo-geo-claude-skills --skill keyword-research -a claude-code`, which drops the skill at `~/.claude/skills/keyword-research/SKILL.md`. Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI and OpenCode differ only in the flag, and GitHub Copilot uses `gh skill install` instead.

Here is the catch worth knowing before you build a workflow on it: installing from the old repo gives you the frozen copy, not current development. For the live skill, pull it from the bundle with `npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills -s keyword-research`. Check which `SKILL.md` your agent actually loads.

## When to use it
- build a keyword list for a new page
- group search terms into clusters by intent
- spot queries with no content behind them
- check which phrases existing pages already cover
- lay groundwork for SEO and GEO optimisation
