## What it does

This skill equips agents with persistent storage driven by the `basic-memory` CLI. It records findings into Markdown notes and categorizes them using tags. Notes remain accessible across restarts.

Searching relies on semantic queries, titles, or date filters. You can also build context trees for paths like `memory://topic/...` before tackling complex tasks. Without `basic-memory` installed via `pip`, the skill cannot run any commands.

The local database updates through `basic-memory sync`. Each note stays organized with standard frontmatter metadata.
