## What it does

The skill covers Jito bundles on Solana: up to 5 signed transactions that execute atomically, so either all of them land in one slot or none do. It documents the JSON-RPC methods `sendBundle`, `getBundleStatuses`, `getTipAccounts` and `getInflightBundleStatuses`, plus a bundle-building pattern on `solders` where the tip sits in the last instruction of the last transaction.

A table spells out when a bundle is worth it: a swap on an illiquid token, multi-step arbitrage, liquidation, an NFT mint. For a plain SOL transfer the skill says to skip the tip and use priority fees instead. Another table gives tip ranges in lamports, from a low-urgency swap up to a must-land-this-slot case, and a helper computes the tip from the recent median with a 0.01 SOL cap.

Block engines are picked by region: New York, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Tokyo. All of them take JSON-RPC over HTTPS on port 443, with bundle calls on `/api/v1/bundles`. Submitting spends real SOL on tips, so the skill itself carries a warning: test with `--demo` first, and scripts and examples default to simulation. Run it against a live wallet without that mode and the tip leaves even when the bundle fails — worth checking your config before the first real submission.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add agiprolabs/claude-trading-skills --skill jito-bundles -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/jito-bundles/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/jito-bundles/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add agiprolabs/claude-trading-skills --skill jito-bundles -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/jito-bundles/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add agiprolabs/claude-trading-skills --skill jito-bundles -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/jito-bundles/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install agiprolabs/claude-trading-skills jito-bundles
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/jito-bundles/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add agiprolabs/claude-trading-skills --skill jito-bundles -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/agiprolabs/claude-trading-skills --path skills/jito-bundles
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/jito-bundles/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add agiprolabs/claude-trading-skills --skill jito-bundles -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/agiprolabs/claude-trading-skills/tree/HEAD/skills/jito-bundles/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- build an atomic bundle with a swap and tip in one transaction
- size the tip against urgency and recent network levels
- route to the nearest block engine instead of the default
- check whether a bundle landed via `getBundleStatuses`
- protect a swap on an illiquid token from sandwiching

## Example prompts
- build a Jito bundle for a swap on an illiquid token and append the tip
- calculate a dynamic tip for a liquidation, urgency 2.0
- check the status of this bundle by its bundle_id

# Jito Bundle Submission for Solana

Jito bundles allow you to submit up to 5 Solana transactions that execute **atomically** — either all land in the same slot or none do. This is the primary mechanism for MEV protection and competitive transaction execution on Solana. Approximately 85%+ of Solana validators run the Jito-modified client, making bundles the standard for reliable, front-run-resistant execution.

> **EXECUTION SKILL — SAFETY WARNING**: Submitting bundles spends real SOL on tips. Always test with `--demo` mode first. Never submit bundles with real funds without explicit confirmation. Default to simulation/dry-run in all scripts and examples.

## When to Use Bundles

| Scenario | Use Bundle? | Why |
|----------|-------------|-----|
| Swap on illiquid token | Yes | Prevents sandwich attacks |
| Multi-step arbitrage | Yes | Atomic execution prevents partial fills |
| Liquidation | Yes | Competitive — tip determines priority |
| Simple SOL transfer | No | Priority fees are cheaper and sufficient |
| Time-insensitive swap | Maybe | Bundles cost tips; priority fees may suffice |
| NFT mint / competitive action | Yes | Guarantees ordering within the slot |

## Core Concepts

### Bundle Anatomy

A Jito bundle is a JSON-RPC request containing 1-5 base58-encoded signed transactions. The transactions execute sequentially and atomically within a single slot.

```
Bundle = [Tx1, Tx2, ..., TxN]  (N <= 5)
- All transactions must be signed
- Transactions execute in order: Tx1 → Tx2 → ... → TxN
- If ANY transaction fails, the ENTIRE bundle is dropped
- The tip instruction goes in the LAST transaction (last instruction)
- Bundle has ~2 slots (~800ms) to land before expiry
```

### Tip Mechanism

Tips are SOL transfers to one of Jito's 8 tip accounts. The tip incentivizes validators to include your bundle.

```python
# Tip is a standard SOL transfer instruction
tip_instruction = transfer(
    from_pubkey=your_wallet,
    to_pubkey=tip_account,      # One of 8 Jito tip accounts
    lamports=tip_amount          # Tip in lamports (1 SOL = 1e9 lamports)
)
# Add as the LAST instruction of the LAST transaction in the bundle
```

Tip accounts are fetched dynamically via `getTipAccounts`. Rotate through them to distribute load.
